The Challenge

The Elahi family began noticing musty odors and visible damp patches along the lower portion of their basement walls following several storms. Scope of Work:

• Foundation Excavation: Carefully dug around the perimeter to expose the foundation walls.
• Crack Repair: Identified and sealed minor cracks using hydraulic cement and polyurethane injection.
• Membrane Application: Applied a heavy-duty waterproof membrane along the exposed walls.
• Drainage Upgrade: Removed the deteriorated clay weeping tiles and installed new perforated PVC drainage pipe with filter fabric.
• Backfill & Grading: Backfilled with gravel and re-graded soil to direct water away from the home.

The Result

Since the installation, the Elahi family has reported no further signs of water intrusion even during heavy rainfall. Their basement is now dry and odor-free, allowing them to confidently move forward with plans to finish the space.
